Re: Results 2009

Our runners really enjoyed themselves yesterday and asked me to pass on their thanks to everyone who made it possible, especially Kevin and his wife!
I am totally in awe of the fact the Thurrock Nomads did it with so little help for so long.
Hopefully we can all do it again next year!!
Do we need any sort of formal de-brief? or do we just post thoughts and comments here?

Re: Results 2009

I'm quite happy to book our clubhouse again if people want to discuss this year's event. There were certainly a few things that need sorting or could be done differently.

Post on here if you feel we need a meeting.

Re: Results 2009

I think a de-brief would be useful - if only to say 'well done' to each of the 10 Leg organisers. Judging from posts here (Leg 6), and a few comments made to me, or overheard on the day, there are a few minor things we could do differently next year. I do stress the word Minor, as I felt that each leg was an absolute credit to the organising club. And to echo Fiona, you do have to wonder at the commitment and energy of the Nomads over the previous years, having not one, but TEN legs to organise. Plus the scoring, recording, and other tasks. I for one will chip in a tenner to buy Fergie, Robert and the other Nomads a beer, if/when we meet up in Chelmsford RFC. But, I hear they are not fond of a pint!
